Brand Strategy
We’ll help your organisation to have clarity around who you are, what you stand for and how to make this relevant to your audiences, as well as setting out a clear roadmap to help you move towards your aspirational ‘future state’.
The process typically involves:
- an assessment of the ‘current state’ – usually a mix of internal workshops and depth interviews, combined with external research with your primary audience(s)
- brand workshop(s) exploring the desired future state
- competitor analysis
- development of a brand strategy roadmap
- activation workshop(s) to help you implement the proposed roadmap
Competitor Positioning
Using primary and secondary research methodology, we’ll help to benchmark your organisation against your current and aspirant competitor set and identify specific actions to help you move closer towards your aspirant competitor positioning.
The process typically involves:
- exploration of your current and aspirant competitor set, agreeing a shortlist, usually between 6-8 comparators
- defining a list of variables – for example, brand and reputation (league tables, brand strategy etc); portfolio (tariff, breadth, differentiating factors); marketing and communications (campaigns, messaging and digital UX)
- analysis and distillation of findings
- benchmarking report highlighting where you are ahead / on a par / behind your comparator set with accompanying recommendations
Customer Insight
Using quantitative and qualitative market research that is then distilled into key takeaways and more importantly actionable insight to enhance the overall offer.
We will work with you to define a clear set of objectives and then design the research methodology best fit for purpose. This can be customer insight to support your brand strategy, or more tactical research for example to help inform digital UX enhancements.

Opportunity Analysis
Using a mixed-methods approach, we’ll help you to assess new market opportunities by providing a detailed opportunity analysis for new product development.
Previously we have worked with clients who were looking to develop their Executive Education portfolio, Online offer, stackable- / micro- credentials, and more specifically one that was seeking to expand their portfolio to address the skills gaps identified in the 2017 Topol Review.
We will work with you to define your goals and criteria for the analysis, and advise you on the methodology that is best fit for purpose.
We will draw upon a range of desk-based, and where necessary primary, sources and distil our findings into a comprehensive and actionable insight report.
